22 Apr 2013: The City of Port Phillip presented its strategy and plans for the Port Melbourne Waterfront and Bay Street at an evening display near the tram terminus adjacent to the Waterfront Place project. This article by Dana McCauley in the local Port Phillip Leader reported on the forum.
There was a large presence from the Council – with staff, Councillors and Mayor Amanda Stevens explaining the strategy and accepting feedback from a large community presence.
Issues presented included:
- the Planning Scheme Amendment C104 and Draft Design Guidelines for 1-7 Waterfront Place 2013,
- the Draft Port Melbourne Waterfront Urban Design Framework (UDF) 2013, and
- the Draft Bay Street Major Activity Centre Structure Plan and Planning Scheme Amendment C103
