Comments on the Port Melbourne Waterfront Urban Design Framework (UDF) closed today.
The next events are expected to be:
- Council hearing and consideration of public submissions on Draft Port Melbourne Waterfront Urban Design Framework 2013: early June 2003
- Council considers results of consultation process, including Council hearing and considers whether to refer the amendment: late June 2013
- Possible Independent Panel Hearing to consider submissions: late June 2013.
Port Phillip Planning Scheme (Amendment C104)
Port Phillip Planning Scheme (Amendment C104), which will give statutory effect to the draft Design Guidelines 1-7 Waterfront Place, is expected to be open for comment later this month.
Amendment C104 proposes to rezone the land at 1-7 Waterfront Place to a mixed use zone, introduce a Design and Development Overlay including a mandatory height limit of 10 storeys and include the draft Design Guidelines 1-7 Waterfront Place as a reference document to the Port Phillip Planning Scheme.
